A game to satisfy any sweet tooth!

The other week, I shared a new, candy rhythm matching game for Google Slides to get your students excited about reading music. Today (you lucky duck, you!), I’m sharing level two AND the BUNDLED version.

The game is simple: each slide has a picture of candy (helpful for your beginning readers) along with its name. Next to the name and picture of the candy are three different rhythms. Match the rhythm to the candy and see if you got it right! If you did, there will be a slide telling you how awesome you are and sends you on to another candy. If you pick the wrong rhythm, it sends you back with a gentle message to give it another go.

Level one is perfect for younger learners or review for your more advanced students. The phrases are short and focus on quarter and eighth notes + quarter rest.

Level two has everything awesome from the original game, but takes it up a notch with longer phrases and more complex rhythms that use half, quarter, eighth and sixteenth notes + quarter rest.

The bundle is where you go to snag it all and save some moola!!

Now, before you come at me saying you love the idea, but you aren’t allowed to do any Halloween activities at your school, I’ve got you completely taken care of! You can grab the same versions of this game, but without any mention or symbols of Halloween.

Check them out here:

These games will satisfy any sweet tooth and have your students drooling and begging to play over and over again!

Happy October!
Joanna
